extending practice time or adding more?
« on: April 18, 2011, 01:33:40 PM »
Hi everyone,
I am doing currently 5 min. SPB and 15 min DM on a daily basis. I feel like I am stable in my practice routine. I was wondering if I should add something or if I should rather extend my practice time to 5 min. SPB and 20 min DM and later on 10 min SPB  and 20 min. DM.
If I add something do you recommend anything?
Thank you for your help ^^

Yep... 20 min meditation and the 10 min spinal breathing... you got it.[:)]

Mulabandha, then sambhavi mudra, then siddhasana. Not all together but as mentioned in the lessons [:)]

The question is more, if I should add more instead off extending the practice. Or if I should first extend the practice and later on add more.

Yes, that is what I meant...
First increase meditation to 20 min
Then extend spinal breathing to 10 min.
Then once stable, add mulabandha.
Then when ready add sambhavi and then siddhasana.

Sorry I was not clear.

[:D]

Meditation is the most important practice we do, so we always try our best to have a full 20 min meditation.
"First, we hang on to meditation. That is always the first priority."
~Yogani

The next most important thing is the rest after meditation.
and
Then next most important practice is spinal breathing.. so 10 min of SpB is the next goal... once we are stable in these core practices, we can add other things.
