The AYP techniques are extemely valuable for they are simple, direct
and cut to the chase as it were. So often our minds like to
complicate stuff and one will find that the further one gets from an
original experience the greater the additions piled on trying to
repeat it.

The mantra meditation he teaches is essentially TM without the
ceremonial initiation, the mantra selection and without the fee.

My kundalini awakening occurred 43 years ago during my first 6
months of TM practice. Nothing fancy, just taking the mind to
Silence and then BOOM, up the spine from tail to top.

If you have extra time there is no end to stuff you can try but you
must also have time to waste.

What he teaches is simple and direct.

I have read every single post on both sites. I have noted he has
dealt with every question courteously and solicitously. This has
taken a lot of his time and energy. I hope people will buy his book.
I am a great believer in the reciprocity of energy exchange. If you
live in a taking world it will prove a dead end. Giving opens the
doors for flow.

I do other things myself, things that work for me. I have the time
or I make the time.

Making the time is so important. He wrote many posts on the need for
passion. I see so many half hearted dabblers and experimenters.

Some things I don't do. I haven't cut my frenum and I don't drink my
urine or sip my wife's. Both might be valuable but I feel neither
the need nor the inclination. However I enjoy reading people's
experiences.

I might even make or buy those magnetic rings, as I am eccentric
enough to try the odd.

And by the way I am not Yogani posting anonymously to make publicity
for his book.

One other thing I admired is his lack of self promotion.

Love,
David

I'm new here. Could you tell me what the frenum is and how does it help in awakening the kundalini? Thanks

PLEASE UNDERSTAND the discussions concerning the frenulum are for
AIDING a technique called KECHARI, covered in Lesson 108!!!!!!!!

Since you are just starting, DISREGARD any worries about this
UNTIL(Much later on) when you KNOW it is time to ADD KECHARI to your
practice!!!

PLEASE forget about this ADDENDUM until LATER!!!

Love and Light,
Nirmal Kaur

Georgia, while I do agree with you i don't see the need to shout. It was an innocent question.
Tp answer teh question, the frenum is not directly related to kundalini. It is simply a tag of tissue that is under the tongue that limits the extension of the tongue. When a yogi is ready for kechari and desires to do this practice then sometimes (it is not always done or needed) they will snip this small tag of tissue under the tongue to allow the tongue to stretch to beyond the uvula and into the nasopharynx. This leads to "kechari" which is more directly connected to channeling kundalini energy. It is definitely not for beginners but I don't see any reason not to be curious and informed.

    Dear Victor,

I was not shouting. You mis-interpreted my message!!! I was CAUTIONING
her not to worry about this at her stage of practice, as it MAY lead
to info "over-load," and overwhelming. Of course there"s nothing wrong
with curosity, you are speaking to ONE that has GREAT CUROSITY in ALL
things!!!

My messages are ALWAYS sent with LOVE, and to help. That is All!!!

Try not to BE sensitive and take worry over my comments!!!

IN LOVE and Blessings,
Nirmal!

    Hi Nirmal,

When you tell people what to "do" rather than humbly suggest and place three exclamation points after your directions so often, it is easy to misinterprete. It may appear as though you are speaking forcefully. From my perspective, I have found the appearance of humility or neutrality, or respectful suggestive traits with in ones posts works well, thus making it obvious you are not bullying or being pushy. It serves as an effective means of avoiding such misinterpretations :-)

After all you would not speak with the "possible appearance" of aggressiveness or abiguity whilst interacting with a stranger would you, this is common social practice and instinctive self preservation :-) In my experience, appearances are everything when dealing with such limited forms of communication as the Internet.

I just thought I would give you some limited, speculative feed back and food for thought, please take it with the best of intentions for harmonious and loving relations :-)

In kind regards,

Adam.
