    Hi Folks,

some of what seems like disagreement here is just terminological
differences. I've seen, for example, a book say that Siddhasana is
not for women, then a page or two later, prescribe Siddha Yoni
Asana for women. So, obviously, these postures are just being
considered different postures in these cases. And why not?
Certainly the instructions are different in important ways. A woman
*cannot* really follow the Siddhasana instructions and a man
certainly cannot follow the Siddha Yoni Asana instructions.

We must tell Yogani about this issue. Maybe he'd put Siddha Yoni
Asana explicitly in later versions of the book.

"Explicitly" may be a poor choice of words, if the book's to continue to enjoy it's PG rating!
:)

I also hoppe Yogani will note that siddhasana is contraindicated for sciatica. That's a nasty
condition, and sufferers could do without the setback.
