Today is an ordinary day and I went to the marketplace, as usual.
But something never happened to me before did occur:
A stranger asked me to cut a piece of winter melon for him.
I was first confused:"Hey man, I'm not the veggie seller!"
"Yea, I know you aren't. But shouldn't you serve the people?"
I cut a piece of melon the size he wanted, naturally, gladly.
People laughed. I laughed.
Then I saw a squash on the table and I took it to the seller.
That man went aside and brought another same squash, and said:
"Man, you are quick to get it even--I brought it here"
"Should you serve the people, too, man?!" I teased him.
People laughed, I laughed.
I gave the seller a 100 bill to pay.
She first gave me some coins, then she gave me five.
"I'll then give you 90." I was confused first, but "OK!"
I thought, accepted the money, and was about to leave,
When she shouted:"Wait! I was Wrong, I shouldn't give you the five!"
People laughed, I laughed. We laughed.
On the way back I was first amused
Then, oh boy, how was I amazed!
I saw the life with a wall built all around,
and how light and laughter penetrate,
when the wall starts to shake and collapse!
A pearl is a grain of sand
that builds beautifying stories all around.
So it'd look pretty, so it'd feel warm.
When the time comes, and the layers are broken,
Can the sand embrace the sea and be
free
