Six Senses
« on: July 16, 2009, 12:45:57 AM »
Still awareness, the essence of sight, purifies ignorance.

Silent awareness, the essence of sound, purifies hatred.

Simple awareness, the essence of smell, purifies arrogance.

Fresh awareness, the essence of taste, purifies desire.

Blissful awareness, the essence of touch, purifies jealousy.

Empty awareness, the essence of consciousness, purifies confusion.

In the moment of these appearances, even the awareness of awareness dissipates and vanishes into the sphere of all possibilities, revealing the Ultimate Guru within, begging the question, "Who am I?"

Between a Buddha and a realm of unmanifest potentiality lies our identity in the blissfulness of nonduality.
