Hey Scott! Great posts and thanks.

Do you still practice the dry brush technique daily (what IS the frequency)?

Cheers!

This is from Scott's earlier post

"It's simple. Your skin as well as the brush should be dry. Start at your feet and brush in a circular motion. Move up the leg to the hips and buttocks, then to the navel area and solar plexus. Brush your hands, and move up the arms to the shoulders. Brush your head, starting at the neck in the sides and back, moving up and over the head and over the face and down the front of the neck. Then brush towards your heart on your torso. Avoid the nipples, armpits, and lips. Try to cover as much surface area as you can."

I think cupping might be to use a cup and create a suction like action by striking the surface of the skin where it creates a vacuum (I think we have all done this as kids). I may be totally wrong but deducing from the context of his first post...

I found this link to a concise set of instructions for dry skin brushing.

I definitely recommend it. I had been using a long brush in the shower, simulating the heart centering warm up exercise but I think I like the dry method much better.

Dry Brush then warm shower followed by ice cold rinse.

I haven't done it daily, but I think it's great to do once in a while.
